by air for Bangkok to attend Special ASEAN Leaders' Meeting on

in Thailand.

Shwe, left here at 9 am today to attend the Special ASEAN Leaders'
Meeting on SARS and the Special ASEAN-Chinese Leaders' Meeting.

General Than Shwe arrives back from Thailand
YANGON, 29 April - Chairman of the
State Peace and Development Council and Prime Minister of the
Union of Myanmar Senior General Than Shwe arrived back here at
7.40 pm today by special flight after attending the Heads of
ASEAN countries' special meeting on SARS and the Heads of ASEAN
countries' and the People Republic of China's special meeting on
SARS held today in Thailand.

April-A press conference was held at Kawdawgyi Palace Hotel here
this morning to clarify the 7th Thailand Exhibition 2003 to be
staged at Yangon Trade Centre on Lower Pazundaung Road in
Mingalar Taungnyunt Township from 7 to 10 May. The trade fair will be held
with the permission of the Ministry of Commerce under Myanmar-Thailand
economic cooperation promotion programme.
