Affairs Minister arrives back

20 April - A delegation led by Chairman of the Central Committee
for Drug Abuse Control Minister for Home Affairs Col Tin Hlaing
arrived back here this morning by air, after attending the 46th
ministerial level meeting on drug control of Commission of
Narcotic Drugs and formal meeting held in Vienna, Austria.

Drug
trafficker sentenced
Yangon, 20 April - A
combined team comprising members of the local intelligence unit
and Tachilek Special Anti-drug Squad, acting on information, on
9 October stopped and searched Arkar riding a motorcycle at the
entrance to Sanlu Village in Loitaukkham village-tract, Tachilek
Township and seized 60 stimulant tablets, 2 grams of heroin, a
revolver and 5 rounds of ammunition.
