1.6981 kilos
of heroin seized
Yangon, 31 March -A combined team
comprising members of local intelligence unit and police force on 27 February
night stopped and searched Tangon, 48, son of U Gongya of No 210, Dukataung
Ward, Myit-kyina, riding Supercub cycle in Myothit Ward, Myitkyina, and
discovered 1.6981 kilos of heroin. On follow-up investigation, the authorities
also detained Ganmon, 35, son of U Sum Hlut Haw.
