Armed Forces Day Literary and Arts Competition and Exhibition opens

Yangon, 26 March — The opening ceremony of the 58th Anniversary Armed Forces Day Literary and Arts Competition and Exhibition was held at the Tatmadaw Convention Hall on U Wisara Road this morning.

Sub-printing house opens in Myitkyina, Kachin State

Yangon, 26 March — Hailing the 58th Anniversary Armed Forces Day, a sub-printing house was opened  in Myitkyina on 23 March for printing the Myanma Alin and Kyemon dailies published by News and Periodicals Enterprise of the Ministry of Information.

Rural roads opened to hail Armed Forces Day

Yangon, 26 March — Hailing the 58th Anniversary Armed Forces Day,  new tarred roads built on self-reliance basis in Thingangyun Township and Dagon Myothit (North) Township in Yangon East District as well as a new gravel road linking villages in Hmawby Township in Yangon North District were opened this morning.
