Projects under implementation for upgrading of Yangon City

Yangon, 28 Feb — Hailing the 58th Anniversary Armed Forces Day, English Version Book Publishing Committee chaired by Deputy Minister for Culture U Soe Nyunt (Htila Sitthu) has the first, second and third prize-winning 56th Anniversary Armed Forces Day Commemorative poems, short stories, articles and essays translated into English and published the 2001 56th Anniversary Armed Forces Day Commemorative Book.The book features long poems written by Maung Sein Naung, Paing Yon (UDE), Maung Wun Tun, Mahuya Saw Lwin, Khin Le Le Chit (Myan/Gon), Saw Eindra Thet Maung.

Yangon, 1 March— The third round of Myanmar Open Golf Tourney 2003, organized by Myanmar PGA  and Asian PGA and mainly sponsored by Rothmans of Pall Mall Myanmar Pte Ltd, continued at Yangon Golf Club in Danyingon this morning.
