 Senior General Than Shwe and wife Daw Kyaing Kyaing arrive back from China on their State Visit
Yangon, 11 Jan - Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council of the Union of Myanmar Prime Minister Senior General Than Shwe and wife Daw Kyaing Kyaing arrived back here from Kunming by special flight at 4.20 pm today after paying the State Visit to the People's Republic of China at the invitation of President of the People's Republic of China Mr Jiang Zemin.

Yangon, 11 Jan - At the invitation of President of the People's Republic of China Mr Jiang Zemin, Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council Prime Minister of the Union of Myanmar Senior General Than Shwe left Yangon at 8 am on 6 January to pay a State Visit to the People's Republic of China and arrived at Kunming in Yunnan Province of the People's Republic of China at 11.20 am local time.

 Senior General Than Shwe, President Jiang Zemin discuss bilateral cooperation
Yangon, 11 Jan - Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council Prime Minister of the Union of Myanmar Senior General Than Shwe and wife Daw Kyaing Kyaing were welcomed by President of the People's Republic of China Mr Jiang Zemin at the Great Hall of the People at 4.30 pm local time in Beijing on 7 January.
