Poppy fields destroyed in Hsihseng
Yangon,
7 Jan - A combined team comprising local Tatmadaw men, members of Myanmar Police
Force, and departmental personnel on 20 December destroyed 6.5 acres of poppy
field near Htanpaya Village, Pinson Village Tract, Hsihseing Township. A total
of 630.25 acres of poppy fields had been destroyed up to 26 December in 2002.
