Senior General Than Shwe and wife Daw Kyaing Kyaing leave for PRC on State Visit 

Yangon, 6 Jan - At the invitation of President of the People's Republic of China Mr Jiang Zemin, Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council of the Union of Myanmar and Prime Minister Senior General Than Shwe and wife Daw Kyaing Kyaing left here by special flight at 8 am today to pay a State Visit to Beijing, the People's Republic of China.
