NNCC of the People's Republic of China donated cold season
crop seeds to cultivate poppy-substitute crops in Shan State
Special Region 1 of Kokang region.
Raw opium seized in Mongshu
Yangon, 16 Oct - A
combined team comprising members of the local intelligence
unit and Taunggyi Special Anti-drug Squad, acting on
information, searched the house of Hao Jein Shi of Hosai
Village-tract, Mongshu Township, on 8 March 2002 and
altogether 18.6154 kilos of raw opium were seized.
