-We Tatmadawmen, value the nation more than we value ours lives. we value our citizens more than our  lives. Sacrificing life for the nation is the soldier's hours.

-Tatmadaw's unity was able to withstand the test during the 1988 disturbances, when destructionists of  the left and right vehemently strove in vain to break up or bring about fragmentation of the Tatmadaw.

-The sprit of sacrifice keeps the honour of the Tatmadaw ever bright.

-Tatmadaw cannot proceed on party politics. We must march forward with Our Three Main National  Causes which can be accepted by everyone.

-Our nation has often been troubled by the danger of disintegration. In order to eradicate this danger  totally, we must uphold Our Three Main National Causes, safeguarding them with Union Spirit.
