Senior General Than Shwe meets officials in Magway Division

Yangon, 25 Nov - Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Than Shwe arrived in Pwintbyu Township after attending the inauguration of Ayeyawady Bridge (Magway) on 24 November.

Yangon, 25 Nov - Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Than Shwe, left Bagan-NyaungU by car and arrived at Ayeyawady bridge (Anawrahta) in Chauk, Magway Division, at 10 am on 23 November.

Yangon, 25 Nov - Secretary-1 of the State Peace and Development Council General Khin Nyunt supplicated on religious affairs at the ceremony to seek advice on management and administrative matters of Maha Santisukha Buddhist Missionary Centre from Ovadacariya Sayadaws held at the centre in Natchaung Ward, Tamway Township, at noon today.
