Vice-Senior General Maung Aye attends ceremony to enshrine relicts, erect the pivot at Maha Tejadhipati Pagoda on Yadana Hill in Mongpan Township, Loilem District

Yangon, 17 Nov - The relics enshrining and pivot erecting ceremony of Maha Tejadhipati Pagoda built on Yadana Hill in Mongpan Township, Loilem District, Shan State, was held at the pagoda on 16 November.

Yangon, 16 Nov - Vice-Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Maung Aye discussed matters relating to development of the strategic roads in Shan State (East) and Shan State (South) in meeting with officials at the meeting hall of the station in Mongpan on 16 November.

86 American tourists leave for Kathmandu, Nepal

Yangon, 17 Nov - Under the supervision of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, with the assistance of the Ministry of Transport and under the arrangement of Adventure Myanmar Travels & Tours Co Ltd, a chartered flight Air 2000 with 86 American tourists on board which arrived in Myanmar on 15 November.


 

Yangon, 17 Nov - Two Chinese fugitives, Peng Feng (a) Shan Liu Yi and Zhao Ying Jun (a) Xin Qilin, who had committed murder, were handed over to China by Muse District Police Station at the office of the police station on 15 November afternoon.
